Photography is always about the light as you have proven so well in this series of shots! The post has a Parisian feel to it. So who's the young lady smiling in the last shot?
Re your comment about the painting: I think the need for a "splash of color" is right on!
Lowell: The young lady in the last photo is my daughter. She and I went to New York recently. The photo is a little deceiving because she looks like she's around 8 or 9.
(p.s. Did that cover of Ruby change automatically? Or did you upload the new cover? It was only finalized recently - most of my books will have new jackets over the course of the next year. . .)
