We had overnight guests for New Year's Eve.
One of them did not want to go home so she wrote a note for me to give to her mom when she came to pick her up.
Elyse's note said: Dear Mommy, I am not here. I am on an amazing adventure. I love you. Now go home. Love, Elyse.
This is Elyse on Christmas day in her "scratchy" holiday dress, which she voluntarily changed into so I could take this photo. She then changed back into her comfortable clothes.
Ohmygosh, I LOVE that note! Love, love, love it. She and my granddaughter would get along v. well.

ReplyDeleteLowell: I let "kids be kids" (within reason) plus my granddaughter likes that I am artistic like her. I also try to be respectful of others, including children, so I guess you could say I am nice.
